New Primary School Opens

The new primary school has opened and students are enjoying the new equipment and extra space. 

"It's great being able to have more classrooms for our growing population, as well as additional teachers." Educational Director, Ilila Peterson said.

The new secondary school is nearing completion as well and is expected to open its doors in 2015.

S'Ahmisa called the meeting together with some great news. "The hood has won a SUN Neighborhood Grant for $110,000. We are honored to recieve this grant as it will enable us to continue to beautify the neighborhood, plan for the future and improve the community. Let's discuss some options for the grant."

Forty-five. Lydia didn't know what to think. Forty-five wasn't that different from fifty, yet, she felt so much different than fifty. She wasn't anywhere close to expecting grandchildren like the others from her high school, in fact her children were still simyears away from their teen years.
