Resar, fall, 2016
Krissy was feeling so tired. She didn't remember feeling so exhausted from any of her other pregnancies.
Maybe it was because she was older, but she wasn't old.
However she still felt as thought this, hopefully last, pregnancy was harder on her body than the others.
Ming walked around the townhome for another lap. The contractions were mild and after two visits to the hospital for false alarms, she refused to leave the house until her water broke and she floated away!
A few hours later, a contraction that felt like the baby was trying to claw its way out changed her mind.
After some *mild* pushing which Ming described as "$%@ #%# pushing! Get the #$#% *^$% out baby!" she welcomed a daughter, Xiang Hua.
Welcome Xiang Hua!

Welcome Xiang Hua - I was hoping Ming would have a girl. I'll be very interested to see how she grows up and how Ming adapts to parenthood.
ReplyDeleteTell Krissy I'm sorry for jinxing her, it sounds like she's having a harder time with this pregnancy than she has in the past - although if my suspicions are right and it's because there's more than one baby on the way, you're the one who jinxed that. :P
Krissy is shaking her fist at you VT for all the pain she's enduring. LOL! Thanks for reading and commenting.
DeleteI wasn't hoping Ming would have a girl but I had a feeling she would, somehow. I'm glad Xiang Hua is here now!
ReplyDeletePoor Krissy...I guess the blessing is that there's not long to go now.
Carla, I had a feeling she would have a girl as well. It just seems to fit. Thanks for reading and commenting.
DeleteAw a girl, too perfect, it's exactly what I saw her having, and a beautiful name. Hope the remainder of the pregnancy goes easier for Krissy.
ReplyDeleteXiang Hua will definately have an interesting life with Ming as a mom, I can't wait to see how things turn out for them. Thanks, Maisie, for reading and commenting.
