mini-update
They had a smaller hood council meeting, just the core officers.
It was fairly quick,
they discussed the status of the new administration building,
"It's been delayed,"
"again?"
"again."
They discussed subsidized housing options,
"The proposal is for an eco friendly housing complex. The units would be made from recycled shipping containers and there would be a community garden that the residents would maintain for their food."
"That sounds nice,"
"Then there is the subsidized housing voucher, that enables residents to rent local homes at a reduced rate. This is great for those larger families that need more space."
"We also need to remind the officers that reports are due soon. We haven't collected reports in a few simyears and the public is becoming restless to know what our plans are and the state of the hood."
"If there is nothing else, this meeting is adjourned and please put some pressure on the builder to complete the administration building. This is ridiculous."

Well, the builder better get busy, it sounds like! And those reports really need to be done!
ReplyDeleteLol, yes, it's been ages since reports have been issued so they need to get on that :) thanks for reading and commenting
DeleteSounds like that builder is under a bit of pressure already, lol!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the subsidised housing though. Wonderful for lower-income sims.
Lol, you could say that, or you could say that the builder forgot about the admin building until the hood council meeting. That's for reading and commenting
DeleteI always love this little sneap peak on the plans for the hood we get from these meetings.
ReplyDeleteI hope the builder get busy or he's going to be in trouble!
The subsidised housing sounds like a good idea!
Lol, that builder. Too many grand plans, not enough time to build, lol. It will be done, though :) thanks for reading and commenting
DeleteThe hood council is such a fun view into the city. The subsidized housing will be fantastic, any ideas who will be moving into there when it's complete? And I really like their response to the delay, again? again... It seems pretty expected at this point!
ReplyDeleteI have a few ideas of some candidates for the homes, but nothing for certain yet. Thanks for reading and commenting, Maisie.
