mini update
There were no new contenders for the hood council, which meant that the previous hood council was elected by default to another term.
This meant that the council members did not have to learn how to work and navigate tough issues with a new set of sims, which allowed decisions to be made with speed.
There were many decisions. The economy was recovering which snowballed into other issues. More dorms were needed due to the projected influx of students. Another university had been opened to meet the demand.
There was the discovery of corruption among the citizens and community, which meant that a major clean-up and rebuild was needed which could take up to three simyears.
They were very busy and to top it off, S'Ahmisa had her responsibilities as vice-president thanks to the successful election.

So much happening! Glad that they council got to stay put, they've been doing a good job. I hope the rebuild goes well!
ReplyDeleteThe rebuild is going slowly. I'm playing a bit in the old hood and making updates and rebuilding in the new hood as well. My goal is that by the end of 2017 (RL) I will have moved over to the new hood. Thanks for reading and commenting.
DeleteNice that the council can just continue with their work, without having to show any new members the ropes. It'll be much easier to jump right in and do what needs to be done now.
ReplyDeleteConsidering that there were not any eligible sims that wanted to run for office, I'm glad the council decided to stay the same as well :) Thanks for reading and commenting.
DeleteIs the council discussing the rebuild of the neighborhood?
ReplyDeleteThey are discussing the rebuild, but they don't know it, lol. Thanks for reading and commenting.
DeleteI'm excited about the rebuild, my goal is to have the new hood up and running by the end of 2017. Until then I will continue to play the existing hood. Thanks for reading and commenting.
