Ray and Lydia Wilsonoff are 53, Ari and Ava are 14
Spring brought renewed hope to Ray's life. After spending the winter seeking help for his un-diagnosed depression, he felt more alive and energetic.
He felt that he had a new lease on life and was determined to make sure his family was financially secure.
He was in talks with Sazo Warwick to buy the bakery and was finally confident that they might have enough to get a business loan for the transaction.
Lydia had great news as well, she was recently promoted to Battalion Chief and was overseeing multiple fire stations in Apple Valley.
The only family member who di not have great news was Ari.
He was caught sneaking out with his friend, Brooklyn, when he was brought home in a police cruiser. Lydia's heart had stopped beating when she saw her baby boy in the back of the car.
She had to remind him that he didn't have the same privileges and assumptions that his blond blue-eyed female friend, Brooklyn, would have.
His family didn't live in an uptown neighborhood and as a male she was thankful that he actually made it home instead of locked up somewhere.
Ari thought his mother was overreacting, but he had enough sense to keep his mouth shut. He thought it was lucky of him to only be grounded and have his cell phone taken away since his mother's temper was legendary.

Hopefully, the talking to from his mother will be enough to keep Ari out of trouble in the future!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see Ray and Lydia doing so well though.
