Rashid is 36; S'Ahmisa is 35; Sabazo is 7, Terilyn and Elsa are 5, Santo and Tody are 2
S'Ahmisa was making an appearance at the annual Apple Festival
as part of her apology tour.
Her recent proposal to stimulate the economy was a tax break for businesses
that hired new employees,
but she never anticipated that firms
would fire tenured employees and
replace them with new hires to get the tax break.
Her standing in the polls had decreased
with the media calling her
"out of touch with the working class sims".
She was on damage control and that meant lots of shaking hands and kissing babies.
Thankfully she was able to get some celebrity endorsement
in the form of basketball star, Benjamin.
She was just hopeful that soon the polls would turn around and
she would be favored by the public again.
I never expected that S'Ahmisa's career would take a turn for the worst like this, but I can see how the business owners would find a way to cheat the system. S'Ahmisa only had the best intentions.
ReplyDeleteLove the Apple Festival lot! Especially the stall in the second last picture with all the kids' artwork. So cute.
Poor S'Ahmisa! If there's a loophole, some business owners will be sure to find it and exploit it. Hopefully things will look up for her again soon!
ReplyDeleteArgh, some business owners can be so shady! Poor S'Ahmisa. I think she has some integrity and wouldn't have offered that deal if she'd known it would turn out like this. Hopefully the citizens will see that their beef should be with the business owners, not S'Ahmisa.
ReplyDeleteWow, that stinks that the business owners took advantage of something that should have been good, and she's the one taking the flack for the business owners decisions. I'm glad that she has some celebrity support with Benjamin, hopefully she can swing it back around.
