Each home has three bedrooms. The fixer-upper on the far left has 1.5 baths, the middle house has 1 and 2 half baths, the right unit has 1.5 baths.

S'Ahmisa knocked on the door. She was desperate and she needed company. Ming was on a business trip, Krissy and Alphonso were on a date night according to their babysitter and her parents were in Simborough visiting her mother's brother. She had tried Si'Enya's dorm room, but her roommate didn't know where she was and Verde wasn't speaking to her anymore. I need to prove myself to Lainey he had said.

I've always found interesting new blogs by looking through the lists of followers and commenters, not only on my own site, but the sites of others. I thought that I would do a monthly profile of the followers of Apple Valley so that others can see some of the other great blogs that are out there. Flit has a sim's related blog called, Verre Tranquille

Verre Tranquille is a sims 2 neighborhood. It's unique in that it includes 7 diffrent lands all sharing the same government and working together called the Verre Tranquille alliance. The first round is at the blogspot address, but the new entries have moved to the wordpress address. Not only will you be amazed by the story, but the pictures are wonderfully done as well.

S'Ahmisa didn't understand why he didn't understand how important this was to her. This was something she had been working simyears towards and she knew that if she wasn't careful or if the sims around her were not careful, it could all come crumbling down.

I worked on a top secret recoloring project at N99. I had ulterior motives for asking about school colors and mascots, so that I could make flags, oodles and oodles of flags!!!

Craftman Bungalow with Basement Income Suite

I built a fairly large bungalow with a basement apartment. My plan is to move a family into the upper unit and have them rent out the basement portion as thier income property. Of course, the entire lot could be used as a residential house with a few modifications (ie, removing a wall or two). It's fairly large on a 2x3 lot, but extremely spacious. Ok, enough babble, here are a few photos of the lot.




The exterior shot and the excess of landscaping, honestly, there are so many trees and shrubs and flowers in the front yard, I feel awful for the gardener. The backyard features a swing-set and barbeque area.


Large spacious basement unit apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a few windows to let natural light in and fireplace. Perfect for a small family or roommates.


Main level with entrance foyer and main level of upper unit. Upper unit's main floor features master bedroom with ensuite, fireplace, large kitchen and guest bath.


Attic level of upper unit features three bedrooms (one with ensuite that is perfect for female teenagers), an additional bath and office space

Blackcat has a sim's related blog called Richmond Sims.

It's a TS2 blog that follows the lives of the sims that live in Richmond. You'll recognize a lot of the sims since Richmond started off as Pleasentview. You have the Beares from Sim State, Dee Ottamas, Meadow Thayer and even Leo Deppiesse. The storytelling is fantastic as the blog follows all of the families in addition to the founding family-the Greens.

Memorial Cemetary

I decided to seperate my existing church lot into two seperate lots, the church and the cemetary. Here are a few photos of the cemetary, which hubby said looks like a park. It's a small 1x1 lot

The summer started with a fierce storm in which lightening struck the McMillian's yard. A small fire started, but thankfully only the landscaping was harmed.

Community Director Note: Plans for 2009-2012 Term

My plans for the term as Community Director:

Secure family values, uphold rights for children and elders

• Mandatory Family Day: So far this is working as most residents make an effort to get out of their homes.

Ensure a family friendly and healthy community for current & future generations.

• Apple Awards-given every other simyear
  Spirit of Community Awards: Given to residents that portray the spirit of Apple Valley. Must be nominated. There will be a ceremony for the winner and a prize.
  
  Beautiful Apple Awards:Given to homes/businesses that are aesthetically pleasing in their landscaping
  
  Green Apple Awards: Designation given to businesses that promote a greener world with their environmental practices.
• Hold on Housing Options The recent increase in housing options has been well. We will place a hold on additional housing options being built until we reach 95% capacity of the current housing options. Currently we are at 67% capacity which includes single family homes and multi-family dwellings.
• Increase Job Options We have successfully courted A.Pentragnani to open up a location in the hood including a fashion workshop to increase housing. We are working on pursuing a robotics factory and a floral shop to chose the hood as their primary location.

Ensure adequate culture, local food produce, restaurants and bars, & social meeting places.

• Community Additions There are plans to add a bowling alley; a floral shop; fire station; police station; spa; sports stadium; upscale bar & lounge; and a public fishing pond.
• Community Renovations There are plans to renovate the pier, university dorm, family fun center and teen hang-out.
• Neighborhood Aesthetics Residents will notice that there have been many changes to the hood by adding more trees, more sidewalks and open spaces and utilizing spaces not directly connected to the roads.

Ensure a quality education system for residents
