Celebrity Baby

Celebrity singer, Trevor Yates and his wife, Si'Enya, have welcomed their baby boy, Kane. Thr proud parents are delighted, says sources. 

Business Wins Big

The Toy Shoppe, owned by Rebecca Wilsonoff and her daughter-in-law, Myra Wilsonoff-Shazad, won big this simyear. The local business won a "Best of the Best" award and followed that recognition with a Chamber of Commerce Prize of §10,000. The Farmer's Market, owned by Grex Grey, also won a "Best of the Best" award. Congratulations to both business owners! 

Street Cute Grants

Thanks in part due to a large grant from the N99 Foundation, residents were gifted with §1000 Kaching Grant to be spent on exterior fixes and renovations. Apple Valley won the grant during the N99 Foundation's Monthly Challenge awards that were focused on the outside of the buildings. Residents have until the end of simyear 2020 to spend their Kaching Grant on exterior renovations before the grant is revoked.

If you had told me that after graduating from URock and living in the big city afterwards, that I would have returned to Apple Valley...to tiny weeny itty bitty Apple Valley, I would have laughed...and then cried in disappointment. However, that's exactly what I've done and I haven't died. I had dreams of staying in the big city, but after completing my masters in physical therapy I found out that most reputable centers wanted a doctorate in physical therapy. I had no desire for even more school and student loans, so job hunting I went. It was months and nothing. Every interview, every phone call, every resume I sent yielded nothing. Until I heard from the Healing Arts Center in Apple Plains.

They were in the final countdown, almost. It was Laci and Veronika's senior year. They had checked off most things from their university bucket list including studying abroad, joining a sorority and discovering their sexuality, or lack there of. The only thing left was to graduate.

Zoe feels bigger than their new house. Which she's not even sure she likes all that much. When they originally purchased the home, Zoe and Johan didn't consider that two babies would eventually start walking and the narrow and highly vertical home doesn't offer a lot of safety when it comes to toddlers. She hates to admit it, but they might have to consider moving...again.

Harris wasn't sure what Emma wanted, but he knew she wanted something. She had requested a private meeting with him at the office. It had been a while since he last saw her. It was a little bit after he fired her, well, laid her off. He couldn't afford to have an employee around anymore with the economy in the state that it was in. He had tried to stay away from her, but she was addictive and he couldn't help himself. They had met a few times since then, mostly for quickies and coffee.

It was amazing how quickly a divorce could proceed if all the parties were willing and everything was arranged peacefully.

Benjamin's career was peaking and he felt it. He knew that he wouldn't be able to stay at the top forever, no one does. He was a superstar. He had interviews almost daily, endorsements galore and his body graced the cover of everything from the top sports magazines, men's fitness magazines and even lifestyle magazines. He had been asked to appear nude several times, he declined them all since they didn't fit his family friendly image. He was chosen to be a part of the Olympic basketball team which was a honor.
