Definitely done, 2018

Havar, fall, 2018
Alphonso is 36, Krissy (Thorn) is 34, Claudio is 9, Isabella is 8, Domenico is 5, Alessia and Marcelino are 1

Alphonso's brothers gave us an early Christmas present of a vacation to Italia and a stay at a vineyard. Before we could leave, we needed to visit my sister, which really isn't a visit since she lives two doors over, to have Harvest Day.





My sister is a new grandmother, but she is also preparing to become a mother, again! She's 47 and this wasn't part of their plan. I don't know what I would do if I got pregnant in my fourties. I was in shock with my last two pregnancies since they were both surprises, I don't think I could handle another surprise like that one. 


We are definately done with having children. Alphonso even ordered my birth control in bulk so we won't have anymore. I know that he would like a dozen if he could, but I am done. I was done a pregnancy ago.



Not that I don't love my children, I do. 


I just didn't expect to have so many of them.



Our vacation was very nice, it was great to get away and relax.




We made sure to have a very nice dinner at the onsite restaurant and enjoy some time together.


Alphonso had to run a few errands for his brothers. I've learned to ask as little as possible. I don't really want to know what's going on.


Unfortunately I got a bad case of food poisoning and we had to return home early. It was still a nice vacation even if I was sick for the latter part of it.


Once we returned home, I didn't get much better and my suspicions were confirmed once I peed on the stick. I'm pregnant again. Alphonso is thrilled of course, but I'm devastated and a bit suspicious. Honestly, three unplanned pregnancies while on birth control is a bit much. I was a math major and this wasn't adding up. It makes me wonder about the effectiveness of my birth control and if they have been tampered with. But...do I really want to know?

These two, agh!!! They are always getting pregnant! Krissy's IFS is 4 and Alphonso's is 12. This will be baby #6, which at least I know will be a singleton since baby will make sim #8 and I don't have any hacks that allow more sims in a lot :) Krissy is allowed birth control so I'm not sure why they're always getting pregnant...unless the birth control is being tampered with.

    Ha, should we be looking with suspicion at Alphonso, perhaps? Good thing you don't have a mod to allow more than 8 sims on a lot, because seeing Krissy is only 34, I could see another accidental pregnancy happening pretty easily!

    Wow, six kids! Glad they got that lovely vacation, seeing it might be a while before they get to take another.

      I'm debating getting that mod but I agree that there would probably be more accidents in the future :)

    But I agree that this sounds a bit fishy. I think ACR uses a random chance of trying for baby, and since Alphonso's IFS is so high that bumps the chances up... but hmm, what is he up to while you're not looking?

      They're not trying for a baby it's strictly risky woohoo which makes Alphonso and his brothers suspect

    Whoa, the way you wrote this I was so surprised when she got pregnant, since she kept saying how they were on birth control, and finished having kids. I didn't even think about the "food poisoning" being morning sickness! Carla's right, it is a good thing they had the holiday since it will probably be a while before they get another one!

    Wow another baby! I did not expect that at all. A nice little souvenir from the vineyard though I suppose. Does birth control work on vacation lots? That would be my first suspicion. I can't believe that 50% of their babies have been oops babies whilst on birth control. I agree with her, highly suspect! I suppose now her and her sister will have babies similar in age to play together while they lay on the couch and lament about how old they've gotten, and how hard it is to bounce back from pregnancies late in life.

      I don't think birth control works on vacation but they were pregnant before they left :/ jasmine will have a rougher time since she's close to 50. Krissy isn't too old and she's an avid runner in tip top shape so maybe she'll recover quickly.
