Family Wins Lottery

A local family won the lottery to the tune of §400,000. The family wished to remain anonymous, however trusted sources have said that the family has been busy donating the money to foundations and making wise investments. Congrats!

Apple Valley's baby boom has graduated high school!

"This is so exciting, seeing so many teens graduate and start their adult lives."

The graduation ceremony was a bit somber as the teens were missing fellow baby boomer, Grace Elise Dawson who died simyears ago. Also, Jadhira Shazad, mother to twins Myra and Naraj, recently died.

"It should have been five of us here graduating tonight," one of the teens whispered.

The teens were excited about their next steps, Annie Grey would be attending Mount Braynon University in Simberry Fields, while twin brother, Bryant Grey would be attending the University of Riverdale in Riverdale. Myra Shazad would be attending WilTech and twin brother, Naraj, would be attending Pierce University.

After a two simyear stint in Kimikura, hood council president, S'Ahmisa Warwick has returned to Apple Valley.

"I'm glad to be back and ready for all the exciting changes ahead of us here."

Rebecca couldn't help but notice all the changes in her family. Maybe it was the giving spirit of the winter, or the holidays or the Christmas spirit. Whatever it was, all she could do was watch in awe. Her newest children's book, "Freezer Bunny's Christmas Hop" was selling off the shelves faster than the publisher could restock them. It meant a nice little royalty check in the mail. The check did little to distract her from all the changes.

Another school year had started and Suzanna couldn't believe that Laci was seriously considering universities. It was an exciting, yet stressful time. Pierce University was her top choice as she wanted to attend school with her cousin, Veronika, but she was looking at aternatives as she knew that her grades were not as impressive as Veronika's grades. There was still time to increase grades, but Suzanna worried about Laci's graduate studies. How would they be able to afford veterinary school?

Benjamin's summer started off great. He was promoted on the basketball team and the newspapers referred to him as a superstar, he was the face of Man Smell Deodorant and his pay increase and endorsements meant that he could afford a bigger and better place.

Rashid was lost in his thoughts as he made his way through the slow security line. The airport was packed and he was stuck behind a tour group of giddy teenagers. A few of them kept glancing back at him and giggling. He smiled which made the young girls blush. One of them reminded him of Tyisha's roommate, Angel. He had finally accepted a date with the young woman. She was nice, a bit flighty, and Rashid knew that nothing serious would ever develop from it. She wanted to be an actress for goodness sakes, what kind of career plan was that? His thoughts went back to his telephone conversation with his family a few weeks ago.
