Love the Way You Lie, Part 2, 2019
Havar, fall, 2019
Bill is 35, Emma is 34, Jacob is 13 and Abigal is 12
optional soundtrack-Love the Way You Lie-Eminen ft Rihanna
Harris wasn't sure what Emma wanted, but he knew she wanted something. She had requested a private meeting with him at the office. It had been a while since he last saw her. It was a little bit after he fired her, well, laid her off. He couldn't afford to have an employee around anymore with the economy in the state that it was in. He had tried to stay away from her, but she was addictive and he couldn't help himself. They had met a few times since then, mostly for quickies and coffee.

Havar, fall, 2019
Bill is 35, Emma is 34, Jacob is 13 and Abigal is 12
optional soundtrack-Love the Way You Lie-Eminen ft Rihanna
narrated by Jacob
I don't understand my parents. They're having another baby, but I hear them argue all the time. I don't know why they are still together. They seem like they hate each other's guts sometimes and then other times it's like they can't breathe without the other.

Short and Sweet, 2006
Peacar, winter, 2006
Emma looked at Bill's suit in disgust. "We should have rented you a tuxedo." she remarked, picking the lint off the sleeve.
"What do you want me to do? Go to the formal shop and demand a tuxedo in the next ten minutes?"
"Could you do that? By the time you return, the sitter will be here for Jacob."
"Because we wouldn't have been able to afford your original A.Pentragani dress that you insisted on."
"Hmmm, well I did need the dress. Don't I look amazing?"
Bill took a step back and looked his wife up and down. "Yes..." he said in awe. "You look absolutely amazing...like an angel."
"O...uh...thanks." Emma said in shock blushing. It had been simlonic months since Bill had paid her an honest compliment and it was a bit unnerving.
----
"I wonder how much money Emma's father had to shell out to get this place." Bradford whispered to his wife as they waited for the nuptials to begin.
"Why does it matter?"
"We have four daughters, remember. I need to start saving for weddings."
"I think we still have a few simyears until that day arrives."
"Do you think they'll elope instead. Eloping is cheaper right?"
"We'll have to see when the day comes."
"You're right...." he said staring out the large windows. "Do you ever think about having another baby?"
"Hell no," Suzanna hissed a little too loud.
"Wonder what those two are whispering about?" Fiona whispered to her husband.
"Who knows."
"Do my boobs look bigger to you?" she asked.
Jesse stared at his wife's breasts, they did look larger, but he wasn't sure how to safely answer the question directed at him. He knew that Fiona had been working on her weight which had been yo-yo-ing up and down since Jeremy's birth.
"I love your breasts...and the body they're attached to...and the mind inside the body."
"How much longer?" Laci asked her cousin, Veronika.
"I'm not sure."
"Aren't you the flower girl?"
"Yea, but they said that they would call for me when-oh! It's time!" She jumped off the chair and rushed to the side door at the beckoning of the wedding planner.
The ceremony was short and sweet,
the couple exchanged the necessary words of love and endearment
then sealed everything with a kiss before bringing the families up for photographs.
"You look amazing," Bill whispered after the last family photograph was taken.
"You don't look so bad yourself."
"Even in this blue suit?"
Emma smirked. "A black tuxedo would have been better, but you do make that suit look good."
"I love you,"
"I love you, too."
"You know, we've been married for a few simlonic months and we haven't killed each other yet. Maybe this whole marriage thing isn't the worst thing in the world."
"So I was right?"
"Hell no, you shouldn't have tricked me-"
"I didn't trick you, you got me knocked-"
"Are you two coming upstairs? It's time for the toasting and I want cake!" Veronika screeched from the stairs interrupting the inevitable argurement.
After toasting to a happy marriage,
sharing their first dance
and cutting cake,
the couple slipped away during a particulary rousing selection of the smustle dance.
"Hey, maybe we could start working on a little sister for Jacob."
Emma laughed. "How much sparkling nectar did you have?"

"What do you want me to do? Go to the formal shop and demand a tuxedo in the next ten minutes?"
"Could you do that? By the time you return, the sitter will be here for Jacob."
Bill sighed. "No I can't get a brand new tuxedo in ten minutes!"
"Ugh, but a black tuxedo would look better with my dress. Why didn't you det a tuxedo?"
"Hmmm, well I did need the dress. Don't I look amazing?"
Bill took a step back and looked his wife up and down. "Yes..." he said in awe. "You look absolutely amazing...like an angel."

Bringing Home Baby Resar 2006
Resar, fall, 2006
"Ugh, this is all your fault, you know." Emma hissed as another contraction rocked through her body.
"I do believe that if you hadn't tossed your birth control out the window in an attempt to get married then we wouldn't be experiencing this." He shot back.
"How dare you speak like that? I'm in pain with your child."
"It's our child and like I said, this is your doing, not mine."
Emma stomped off, before another contraction overtook her body causing her to cry out in pain.
Bill worriedly glanced at his watched and back to his new wife as she doubled over in pain.
"Come on, it's time to go to the clinic, the contractions are closer now."
---
After the standard two simday stay, Emma and baby Jacob returned to the small apartment.
"Welcome home, little guy." Bill cooed at his soon.
He took him from Emma's arms and stared into eyes that mirrored his own.
"He's precious," Emma whispered as Bill prepared him for bed.
"Yes, he is." Bill agreed. Perhaps this was one of the few things the couple could agree on.
"Don't tuck the blanket too tight," Emma urged.
"I know how to tuck in a baby," he hissed back.
"You sure about that? Last time I checked, this was your first kid."
"He's also your first kid, you know just as little as I do."

Adulthood, 2006
Patar, summer, 2006
Bill Carr is 22; Emma Seavey is 21 and a junior at Pierce University
Bill and Emma were settling into a routine. Each morning they would have an argument before Bill went to work and Emma to her summer courses,
then Bill would come home after work, search the papers and online for a better paying job
before Emma returned from her summer classes and checked the mail for the daily influx of bills. Mostly student loans, medical bills, utilities and of course, the rent.
Outsiders would think that the couple hated each other, but that was far from the truth.
They loved each other very much and were not shy with their displays of affection.
It was as if their arguments fueled the flame of their love, igniting a smoldering passion within them for each other.
That didn't stop the gossips from wondering if their flames of passion would burn the couple.
They had big plans, one day Bill would work as an independent inventor, earning money from his many patents, while Emma would be excavating the sea bed for valuable relics, but until then he merely worked as a lab assistant and was constantly looking for a better job. Already Bill had plans for a robot that would do the cleaning for you and he was busy formulating plans in his head for such a machine.
For now, they were looking forward to a simple courthouse ceremony that would legally unite them as a couple before the baby arrived and whenever she wasn't playing her favorite online game, Emma was planning a big winter wedding, thanks to the simoleans promised by her father.
However, Emma's father and Bill's parents had made it very clear that the couple was expected to take care of their own household, which meant that most of Bill's paycheck was going to the bills, which didn't leave much room for other expenses...like a baby. Welcome to adulthood.
