I have been reelected for another term, 2005-2009. For my 2005-2009 term as Hood Council President, I propose the follow:
- Coordinate the County Council's work
- Coordinate county council meetingsCounty council meetings are held multiple times each simyear and are public once a simyear. An agenda will be published before the meeting for residents to make admendments to.
- Official spokesim for the hood
Would still like to look into having an official flag for the hood. Our hood has been around for a long time and I think that it is long overdue time for us to have a flag. - Manage foreign alliances-Form a formal united FSBS hoods council.
-Visit all FSBS affliates at least once during this term to discuss ways our hoods can become better connected.
-Continue SUN Exchanges via interhood internships, exchanges and study abroad programs. - Enforce laws and immigration/emigration
-Update laws, many of the current laws no longer apply.
-Establish seperate immigration laws concerning teens for educational purposes and single adults for relationship purposes.
-Update fines and fees to reflect current inflation changes. - Serve as SUN Core member
Unfortunately, the SUN Core seems defunct thanks in part to the lack of FSBS hoods and the introduction of the new dimension. - Oversee administrative business lots
The Starr Grey Administration Centre is managed by me while the Memorial Church is managed by Pastor Lyndon Humphrey and The Veronika Kent Medical Centre is managed by Dr. Julio Wilsonoff. Pastor Humphrey updates us of progress via reports and occasional visits during county council meetings.
Congratulations to Fiona! Good to see she's getting down to business straight away. That must mean the right choice was made.
ReplyDeleteShe's the woman for the job, if ever there was one! Fiona knows how to take care of business.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks good on the agenda. And if you're getting a flag, I'm getting one too. LMAO!
Congrats to Fiona! I think she does the job perfectly, can't imagine another one doing it.
ReplyDeleteI'm also looking forward to seeing the flag!
What is the whole FSBS hood thing? I see the hoods on the side, and I noticed that sims bounce around between hoods, but how does it work? Is there a site that it's explained out? I've always been curious.
-Carla, Fiona is all about business. It's a shame that she doesn't want to become a mayor, instead she wants to become the Law...close enough ^_^
ReplyDelete-SH, Definately. I have the mesh picked out for the flag and even a design for SimNation, the SUN and AV. I just need to get in all on paper and send it away to be recolored :P
-Maisie, I did a post on the BTS blog about FSBS (http://behindthescenesofapplevalley.blogspot.com/2009/04/fsbs-confusion.html). It's fairly simple, however the official SUN has been lacking in activity with TS3, so if might take a while if you want to officially join the SUN, but you can still post on the boards with the pswd: suntalk. In spite of the lack of official activity, there are still FSBS hoods out there that still play with each other. The main difference is that you make reference to other hoods and if your sims move away, they can move away to another hood instead of some vast black hole. Also your sims can visit other hoods as well. The biggest difference is that it is a form of role playing. The Samantha Bradshaw Project is an hybrid of how one would play a FSBS hood. Feel free to browse around the other FSBS hoods to get a feel for how each simmer plays. I find that it adds an added dimension to playing. Like Rebecca's brother, Ray, just had a baby in Simmington Hills-so the family "sent" them some gifts or how Verde and S'Ahmisa visited Riverdale for a soccer camp since they both love sports and how Benjamin moved from Simdale Valley based on that hood's ROS.
Whew, long comment. Hope that helps, but if you have any specific questions-ask away.
