Vividly, 2017

Patar, summer, 2017
mini-update

Lyndon and Gretchen were enjoying their empty nest. They had moved to a smaller patio home near Anthony and Susie and it was the perfect size for them.

They had little dates all the time.

It was over one of their dates that they decided to surprise Anthony and Susie with a trip for their 10th anniversary.

The couple had their hands full recently,

they were still assisting Walt with child care for the kids

which often meant that they had six children at once. Considering how active their own children were, meant that there was a lot of noise in the house.

Anthony and Susie were grateful for the break.

They remembered the vineyard vividly.

It was where Lyndon and Nicole renewed their vows several simyears ago.

"Perhaps we should renew our vows as well,"

so they did.

After a nice dinner at the vineyard

and some nectar tasting,

they found themselves in the courtyard underneath the pavilion covered with grapevines.

It was there that they renewed their vows before each other

and hoped for another 10 simyears of marriage.

  1. That was a nice vacation, and nice after all the sad and crazy stuff, to see something sweet and happy! Here's to another ten years for Anthony and Susie!

    1. I don't think anyone would have guess that they would still be going strong, but they are and they're having a blast doing it. Thanks for reading and commenting

  2. Wow, ten years! I can't believe it's been that long for Anthony and Susie but I'm happy for them. What awesome parents/parents-in-law they have to surprise them with that trip as a gift. What vacation destination is that?

It's the Montalcino Vineyard that I built a while back, I have it on a custom vacation hood designated as mountain.

  3. I really like the vineyard, it looks like a nice place to relax and get away from it all. What a nice surprise of Gretchen and Lyndon.

Anthony and Susie seem like a very strong couple, I'm sure another 10 years will happen for them!

    1. Those two have grown stronger over the years now that Susie is more comfortable with her feelings for Anthony and she feels very secure in his love and he also feels highly respected and loved. I can't wait to see them in another ten years. Thanks for reading and commenting

    1. Thanks, I think I built this vineyard around the time that TS3 world adventures came out and I wanted my sims to have a nice vineyard to visit. Thanks for reading and commenting

  5. The vineyard is beautiful! Such a great place to rekindle a relationship and renew vows. Anthony and Susie are adorable together, and I'm glad that they were able to get away. I always feel that Susie needs breaks to rejuvenate herself. Gretchen and Lyndon are adorable, their house sounds crazy with six kids in it!

    1. Six kids in Susie and Anthony's brownstone is quite a lot, but they seem to handle them quite well until it's time to pass them back to their father. Thanks for reading and commenting.

  6. I really like how they renewed their vows in the same place as Lyndon and Nicole. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years already but I love how happy they are together and how they still seem like they're dating.

    1. Yes, that spot has a lot of meaning for their family. It was where Susie and Anthony truly feel in love, well at least Susie started to admit that they might have a future. Hopefully one day they can bring the girls as well. Thanks for reading and commenting.
