Lot Tour: James and Claire McMillian

I decorated this urban house for James and Claire McMillian

The exterior, it used to belong to Elphy and Andrew Davis before they moved to the suburbs.

I decorated James and Claire's space in a monotone design. It's something new, but I might try it again, but with a different color scheme instead of black and white.

  1. Very nice and sophisticated. But I have to admit I feel sad for the nooboo to end up with a black and white nursery.

    1. I'm glad that it looks sophisticated. I was trying to make it look a bit more grown up than my other houses. Thanks for reading and commenting.

  2. It looks amazing! I love the tiles in the bathroom and those marble counters in the kitchen are so perfect.

  3. Very nice home for this family. I really like the kitchen, and the garden space. It'll be nice seeing them welcome their baby to their new home. It definitely looks spacious for learning to walk and romp around in.

    1. Learning to walk and all the toys that come with babies will be an adjustment, but I think the hood council is considering building a new park near them (this is the warehouse district) to help raise property values (and due to the demands of the residents there) Thanks for reading and commenting.

  4. Yes, very sophisticated. Actually, when my kids were little I remember black and white toys were all the rage for babies because they said they could see them better.

    1. I recall that time period as well, everything was black and white, even crib mobiles. Thanks for reading and commenting.
