When the Bell Rings, 2016

Hapar, spring, 2015

Principal: Ilila Peterson; Secondary Teacher: Simlish & History: Jesse Kent; Secondary Teacher: Math & Science: Krissy Thorn

Secondary Students:
Veronika Kent and Laci McMillian are in the 12th grade; Gerald Frankson, Aaron Sweeny and Simora Sweeny are in the 11th grade; Esther Dawson and Breckin Grey are in 9th grade; Amyra Dawson, Chase Dawson, Lara Grey, Jennifer Kent, Jessica Kent, and Matt Sweeny are in 8th grade

The school play was chosen by Jesse Kent from samples of his students' writing. His daughter, Jennifer, was chosen to write the screenplay.

So far the rehearsals were going well.

The music was chosen,

costumes were almost finished

and the cast were in good spirits.

The sci-fi historical dramady was sure to be a hit or at least not cause parents to complain about the ticket prices.

Jennifer was a tough director as well, she made sure that the entire cast was performing their best.

Besides the play, the students still had their usual classes,

research projects

and electives.

Lara and Amyra bonded over spilled paints,

while Breckin and Esther

traded glances while working on their projects.

Even gym class was going well.

Ilila and her staff took a moment out of the day to review applications. They needed another teacher, especially with the boom of students expected from the primary school. Hopefully they would be able to hire another teacher soon.

There would be two students graduating this spring.

Veronika and Laci were great girls, mild mannered and sweet, everything you could want in a student. They would be missed by all of the staff.

They were finishing up their senior projects

and simply enjoying the last few weeks

before they left for university.

  1. Yeah, awesome work, Veronika and Laci!

The school play looks like it's shaping up to be a great show. It's good to see Jennifer taking her job as writer-director so seriously as well. :)

    1. Jennifer looks great as a director, I think I might have to find a custom career for her, something with directing and she can write screenplays in her free time. She really enjoys it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

    2. I don't know if you already know about this but there's a TS2 conversion of the TS3 Late Night director career available for download here:

  2. Congratulations, Laci and Veronika! I'm not surprised that Veronika's university fees are more than covered by her scholarships, but Laci's done well to get into Pierce University herself - both girls should definitely be proud of their achievements. I look forward to seeing what the future brings for them. :)

I like the look of those rehearsals - and the fact that the play was put together from samples of the students' work as well. Looks like Jennifer's doing a great job with it.

    1. Veronika is super smart, so I'm sure it didn't really surprise you at all. I'm hoping to explore more of her and Laci in university, they only recently started doing things separately. Thanks for reading and commenting.
