Coloring Within the Lines, 2016

Happy Three Kings Day

Havar, fall, 2016
Principal: Ilila Peterson; Primary Teacher K: Jasmine Frankson; Primary Teacher 1 & 2: Walter Gibson; Primary Teacher 3 & 4: Henry Mendenhall; Primary Teacher 5 & 6: Rosemarie Mendenhall

Primary Students: Ana Rayne Wilsonoff, Jeremy Kent, Lora McMillian and Indira Grey are in 6th grade; Jacob Carr, Richmond Grey, Lesia McMillian, and Olivia Humphrey are in 5th grade; Abigal Carr, Vivienne Humphrey and Robin Wren are in 4th grade; Ari Wilsonoff-Sagacious and Ava Wilsonoff-Sagacious are in 3rd grade, Brooklyn Peterson, Jude Peterson, Claudio Pentragnani, Starling Wren and Nicholas Keller are in 2nd grade; Albert Frankson, Isabella Pentragnani and Palila Wren are in 1st grade

School has been a bit busier than usual, Ana Rayne was in the hospital so most of her work was being sent there. Ilila was tasked with observing the fine art classes.

Based on how other schools in SimNation were structuring their classes, this would be Apple Valley's last simyear of mixed aged fine arts. Next term, each class would be assigned a fine arts class. Currently there were four classes, which meant four fine art classes. Unfortunately, there was only music and art...for now. So K and 3/4 would be taking art classes, while 1/2 and 5/6 would be taking music classes.

Rosemarie's class was studying the natural world again,

which meant plenty of running from bugs

and digging in the dirt.

Henry's class was busy learning fractions

and Walter's class was working on character empathy.

Ilila was tired of repairing the library computers,

thankfully the school was holding a bake sale to help raise money for new computers.

After a few hours in the lobby,

Ilila was ready to close the fundraiser. It was mildly successful, enough money was raised to buy one new computer.

  1. Glad to see Ana Rayne's out of the hospital, but that's a lot of kids. I'm only just starting a school now, so I like seeing what other schools look like.

    1. Fini, I've had much larger crowds than this but to help me manage the kiddos I usually teleport them in one class at a time. Saves on headaches :) thanks for reading and commenting

  2. Two comments - 1: Is Ana Rayne doing OK? and 2: My mouth is watering looking at those cakes. Yum.
I always enjoy reading your school updates. You do have a lot of kids, but they're all too adorable. :)

    1. VT, Ana Rayne has a lot of health issues due to her premature birth

As a result, she goes in the hospital quite often for therapy or surgeries. Thanks for reading and commenting

  3. Your school updates are always so cute! I'm glad the bake sale raised some money for a computer - wish our school would do that, lol! We have some crappy computers where I teach. ;)

    1. Carla, I wished there was enough money for two computers so now they have one nice computer and one sucky computer :) it was fun to put on, all the parents donated whatever baked goods were in their inventory and Ilila sold it in the lobby. A lot of parents brought back the same baked goods they donated :) thanks for reading and commenting.

  4. I like the idea of a bake sale. It would e nice to see this in the future again if there needs to be money for new things. Perhaps I'll use that at some point in the future.
