Krissy Thorn and Bill Carr are seniors, Susie MacAstral and Benjamin Endeavor are sophmores, S'Ahmisa Warwick and Verde Herendez are freshmen. Uma Birch is 25, Anthony Wren is 26.
Susie felt her knees weaken a bit as Anthony greeted her in the apartment lobby. He had invited her over for a homecooked meal.
She tried not to giggle as she realized that they were eating soup for dinner.
"Soup? Really, couldn't think of something easier than soup from a can?"
"This isn't from a can," Anthony promised, bringing the spoon to his lips for a taste. "This is all handmade, except the meat, I can't make chicken."
Susie sat back as he served her a piping hot bowl. It smelled like heaven. Simply smelling the soup was enough to make her think that everything in the world was alright.
"This is an ancient kimikurian family recipe. It is supposed to keep you healthy and if you are sick, it will heal you rapidly."
Susie grinned. "Are you sure it works?"
Anthony nodded. "I've been at the hospital and dealing upclose with the Plumbbob Virus, yet I remain healthy."
Susie couldn't deny his logic there. She watched as he poured two glasses of bubbly nectar and handed her one.
"What's the occasion?"
"It's been one simlonic month since I first laid eyes on you." he explained.
Susie couldn't believe that it had only been one simlonic month, it seemed like they had been together for ages.
"I'll wash dishes," she said grabbing their plates and quickly filling the sink with soapy water.
"She washes dishes," Anthony mockingly swooned. "I'm in love."
"Just because I wash dishes?" she teased.
"No," he said sweeping her into his arms and holding her tight. Susie noticed the look in his eyes and her heart skipped a beat. "I love you for so many different reasons."
He loved her! "Name three." she challenged.
"I love because of the way your bottom lip curls when you smile, I love because of the way you move your hands really fast when you're talking passionately about alien lifeforms and I love you for the way you make me feel complete."
He led her into the living room and grabbed her hands in his. "I know that we've had some wonderful dates and I enjoy spending time with you.
In fact I can't get you out of my head. I always want to talk to you,
hold you and kiss you. I love you so much."
Susie couldn't help but smile. "I love you too."
It was the truth, she thought as she leaned backwards on the bed. She did love him. However she couldn't get those thoughts out of her head.
Thoughts of seducing other sims, making out in the dark corner of a bar with total strangers, woohooing in the sauna with the guy that trims her hair or simply entertaining an assortment of lovers.
Right now they were only wants and desires, but what if she wanted them to become something more than just a dream? Would Anthony ever be just enough?

"I hear you're interested in adoption." Fiona asked easing herself into her chair.
"I am. I can't take care of this child and I want to see if there are any families that could possibly care for my child."
Rebecca glanced at the heavily pregnant woman. "Do you know when you're due?"
"This winter. Givar in fact."
"That's my due date as well." Fiona offered.
"There are a few families that we can think of that would be interested in adoption. You would need to sign some paperwork and what about the baby's father. What does he think of all of this?"
"Bill doesn't know. Do I need his consent?"
Rebecca nodded, not noticing Fiona holding her breath.
"Bill is the name of the baby's father?"
Uma nodded. "Bill Carr. I haven't spoken with him in a while, I don't even know if he'll believe that the baby is his."
Fiona gritted her teeth and picked up the phone. "Jesse, you need to get down here as soon as possible and bring Bill."
Everything happened so fast. One minute Bill was enjoying the talents of his neighbor and the next his father was dragging him to the adminstration building. He sat nervously in the meeting room, trying to think what he could have done this time to upset his step-mother. When he saw Uma waddle in, her belly huge and her eyes wide, he knew instantly.
Words like adoption and consent were tossed around by the sims in the room.
He remembered his father glaring at him, wondering how he could have made the same mistake again.
Uma was adament that she didn't want to keep the baby, that she couldn't keep the baby and that this was the only way.
Fiona agreed. There was a family who had an application waiting for a child. They would come in once a week to chat with Rebecca.
The couple had other children and had adopted before.
Their names were private, this would be a closed adoption.
Uma had already gone through their profile and agreed to the family. Bill had no choice but to trust her, to give her what she wanted, which was his consent in putting thier child, his baby, up for adoption.
Bill didn't have to say much. He couldn't say much. His voice was overpowered by the emotions in the room, by the pointed stares from his family and Uma not meeting his eyes.
"It's for the best," Uma promised.
Bill nodded. "I know...I know."

Baby Carr/Birch is due Givar 2005
Whew-the end of an epic university update. They have a lot going on and every student demanded that their story be told.
Susie & Anthony. Anthony is head over heels in love with Susie and as a knowledge sim that's saying a lot. All he wants is to talk with her, flirt with her, tell her funny jokes and kiss her (aside from learning how to paint and buying a floral bench). Susie wants to public woohoo, make out with five sims, meet someone new and have public woohoo with six sims. She's rubbing off on Anthony, he recently rolled the want to public woohoo with three sims.
Bill is still Bill. He desires to continue making his beautiful mistakes, though he is pulling a pretty decent grade while at university. He managed to avoid getting the crap beat out of him by Susie thanks to quickly leaving that lot. Thankfully Krissy doesn't autonomously beat him up, but Susie more than makes up for that.
S'Ahmisa got on the Dean's List, which was expected as all she wanted to do was write term papers and go to class and make friends with her professor. She's been walking around with her head hung low, so I imagine that she's still messed up over how soon Verde moved on since they don't regret the breakup.
Verde barely went to class, but he did manage to pass. I imagine Lainey has been helping him with his studies. His chemistry is higher with Lainey then S'Ahmisa and Lainey was all over him during basic training this summer, but he held her off...repeatedly. I suppose in respect for his relationship with S'Ahmisa. As soon as they broke up, he wanted to see Lainey. They quickly took thier relationship from friends to more than friends pretty easily.
Verde and S'Ahmisa's break-up wasn't my idea. It was strange, they had really high chemistry and high relationship scores, but never rolled any sort of wants for each other. Especially S'Ahmisa, it was all about studies for her. Verde would roll generic wants to kiss or flirt, but nothing for S'Ahmisa. They only reason they were intimate or romantic with each other was due to ACR. Their autonomous interactions together-except for ACR-were mostly telling jokes or talking. No sweet little kisses or random serenades like my other sims that are in love do. It was as if they were telling me, "we like each other...as friends".
Benjamin managed to pass as well in spite of his hunt for a willing female partner and basketball practice. He has made a lot of friends this semester, kissed a few ladies and more. Next semester is basketball season, we'll see how much time he can devote to his pursuit of females.
Krissy still has an hangup on Bill and has taken to stalking his apartment while he romances his lady friends. She doesn't roll wants for him, instead she is very focused on school and term papers, assignments and research projects.
Anthony is so romantic--it is surprising for a knowledge Sim, especially a YA, to roll up so many romantic wants for her. I was really vicariously enjoying the romance until Susie's other competing wants popped up again, but it is so true, some people even appear to be that way. She still might find that he's enough.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Benjiman passed.
It was pretty funny how Bill got pulled in to the administrative building. I hope things get better for Uma.
Susie might just need some time to get used to the idea of one man. Or maybe not.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Ginger and Grex are going to adopt Uma and Bill's baby.
Oh, Bill. I am so disappointed in you. I'm not surprised that Fiona caught wind of it and was outraged. It sounds like the adoption plan might work out best for all involved.
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed these latest updates. Young adults are a really fun group, there's so much going on as they move into the next stage and are trying to find out what they want to be and who they want to be with.
-Francesca, Anthony is very romantic considering he's knowledge-he's an adult, btw. Susie is very confusing romance/family, so I expect lots more confusion in the future.
ReplyDelete-Carla, those two have been waiting to adopt for a while now, so I'm glad they have the chance.
-Em, I'm glad you enjoyed the updates. They demanded that I tell ALL their stories and they were too juicy to leave out. Whew, thank goodness it's over...for now.
Part 3 was just awesome! I have enjoyed reading all of them! I love the summation at the end, too. I am THRILLED that Grex and Ginger are going to get Bill and Uma's baby!! What a wonderful solution! They've been wanting one so bad!
ReplyDeleteThere's no way you could've skipped these stories. There's way too much drama going on. LOVE IT!!
-SH, glad you liked the summaries. It was a lot to keep up with this time. I hope spring semester is a little more calm, though I doubt it.
