Ensure a quality education system for residents
Currently we have a combined primary and secondary school as well as a local university and options for advanced degrees and associate's degrees.
Our curriculum is updated and featured in-depth in several notes.
A new campus of WilTech will be coming to the hood. Students that desire to explore the option of technical or trades school are encouraged to attend WilTech located in the metro.
A local daycare center will be established by the end of 2011 to serve the residents of children younger than school age. The daycare center will bring in additional revenue for the school, in addition to fundraising.
Manage the primary and secondary school and curriculum
With the projected bump in population, it is becoming more obvious that we will need to hire additional teachers and establish additional classes.
Additional classrooms for primary school will be completed by the end of 2010, additional secondary school classrooms will be complete by the end of 2011 and an on-site daycare will be complete by the end of 2011.
We need to hire an additional primary school teacher by the end of 2010, additional secondary school teacher by the end of 2011 and a new daycare teacher.
Our goal is to add an addition five bookcases full of books to the library by the end of 2012 and upgrade all the computers in the library.
The basketball team will be established by the end of 2011 and will be under the leadership of our local sports hero, Benjamin Endeavor, who is donating his time to coach the team.
Manage the university and curriculum.
Pierce University has completed renovations that expanded the arena for graduations and updated the classrooms. However, current students have been complaining about cramped space of the dorms. Due to this, Li Yoo has agreed to a redesign of a new dorm occupying the same amount of space. The new dorm will have communal bath areas and single rooms as shared sleeping quarters were not working. The new dorms should be complete by the end of 2011.

Oh, a day care, huh? That sounds interesting! I can't wait to see how you do that.
ReplyDeleteAnd a new dorm. I always love the opportunity to see anything you build.
Can't wait to see your new dorm and how you run the daycare! I had wanted to do that way back when OFB came out, but couldn't pick up any of the toddlers after teleporting them in, but that shouldn't be a problem now with all the hacks and allmenus!
ReplyDeleteCarla, yep, a daycare. I'm still experimenting how it will work as well and looking for a teacher for the daycare, thanks for reading.
ReplyDeleteMaisie, I'm expecting it to take lots of trial and error and perhaps lots of cheats and creativity :)
Let us know how the daycare works out. I was thinking when I was playing one of my households and had to hire a nanny (the same one my other households hired) how neat it would be if they could take them to daycare instead. I have no idea how to make it work. It will be really interesting to see what you come up with.
ReplyDeleteEm, I tried the daycare the other day and it was crazy. There are lots of things that can't be done, so I'm working on doing workarounds. It will probably function much like a playable school, the little ones get a nanny and that will serve as the daycare fee and then I use the daycare for storytelling and friendship building and such.
